MISSION: Warmth, Healing, Safety & Dignity
Every day, people in our community face the devastating realities of domestic violence, homelessness, trauma, and isolation. Our mission is to provide Warm Kits, Therapeutic Release experiences, advocacy, and life-saving support to survivors, unhoused neighbors, and veterans who have served our country.
Why This Matters
-
More than 1 in 6 men have experienced sexual violence, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner—yet many survivors remain silent because of stigma.
-
Nearly 33,000 U.S. veterans experience homelessness on any given night.
-
Many people escaping violence or living outdoors have little more than the clothes they are wearing.
-
Trauma does not disappear when someone reaches safety. Survivors also need healthy opportunities to release emotions, regain their voice, and begin healing.
Warmth supports the body. Therapeutic release creates space for the heart and mind to heal.
Why Warm Kits Are Critical
Each Warm Kit includes essential items such as socks, gloves, hats, hand warmers, hygiene products, snacks, and crisis-resource information.
For someone sleeping outdoors, experiencing homelessness, or escaping abuse, a Warm Kit offers immediate protection, comfort, dignity, and hope.
Just $20 provides one complete Warm Kit.
Why Therapeutic Release Matters
Therapeutic Release experiences provide safe, supportive opportunities for participants to express emotions, reduce stress, and begin processing difficult experiences.
Through activities such as art, journaling, guided reflection, mindfulness, and supportive conversation, participants are encouraged to release what they have been carrying and take meaningful steps toward healing, confidence, and renewed hope.
