Beyond the Mask reflects themes found in DBE's Therapeutic Release, a non-clinical creative-wellness program that uses creative expression, guided reflection, art, and intentional conversation to encourage resilience, self-expression, and connection.
Beyond the Mask takes those themes into a larger public experience—using art, fashion, storytelling, and community to encourage people to look beyond what is immediately visible.

Beyond the Mask will come to life because of the people working behind the scenes. We’re looking for dependable, welcoming, and energetic volunteers to help create a polished, memorable experience for our guests on Friday, December 11, 2026.
Volunteer opportunities may include guest check-in, seating assistance, VIP hospitality, vendor and sponsor support, event setup, guest guidance, accessibility-area support, and post-event breakdown.
