DBE provides essential services including outreach, wellness programming, resource distribution, and advocacy for veterans, survivors of domestic violence, and individuals facing homelessness. As our programs grow, so does the need for committed volunteers who can help us serve the Cleveland community with excellence and care.
We are currently seeking volunteers for the following areas:

• Community Outreach & Engagement

       Assisting with street outreach, resource distribution, and connecting individuals to services.

• Event Support

       Helping coordinate and staff community events, shoe drives, wellness workshops, and fundraising activities.

• Administrative & Program Support

       Assisting with data entry, client intake, scheduling, and program logistics.

• Donations & Distribution

       Sorting, organizing, and distributing donated items such as shoes, clothing, hygiene kits, and household               essentials.

• Hospitality & Veteran Support

       Supporting DBE’s veteran‑focused housing and workforce initiatives through mentorship, onsite assistance,         and community-building activities.

Volunteers may serve on a one‑time, short‑term, or ongoing basis. Training is provided, and all roles are designed to be accessible, meaningful, and aligned with DBE’s commitment to dignity and excellence.
