7th Annual Fill The Truck

The mission of Doing Better than Excellence is to offer unique experiences for Homeless Veterans, by providing benefit literacy programs, civilian care, Domestic Violence Advocacy, and homeless prevention assistance. We seek to house Homeless Veterans in a creative, innovative, and diverse transitional home incorporating job skills, civilian life, and a safe environment. Since the event’s inception, we’ve been able to fill one 17ft U-Haul truck per year, and this year we want to continue the tradition! Helping over seven shelters in the Greater Cleveland Area year-round. Doing Better Than Excellence strives to bring essential products to those in need. During Fill the Truck our organization chooses a local shelter to donate essential items.

This year donations will go to help a local Veteran Shelter with the efforts of providing better care and provisions for homeless Veterans. With your donation, we will be able to support more homeless through the winter months.

Bringing awareness to homelessness in Cleveland, Ohio is our company mission. Since the event’s inception, we’ve been able to fill one 17ft U-Haul truck per year.

This year we are partnering with Shiloh Baptist Church CLE, to bring the community a Back-To-School Festival.
